It was a pleasure for C-Law to participate in the 4th Women in Law Conference, organized by Nomiki Vivliothiki, and to contribute to a meaningful discussion on building a sustainable and authentic career in the legal profession today.

Our firm was represented by our Founder, Mary Chalioti, in a panel discussion addressing the challenges women face when claiming space in demanding professional environments, the importance of confidence and strategy, and the fine line between resilience and burnout. Mary also discussed why wellbeing must be reflected not only in individual choices, but also in culture, leadership, expectations, and the way work is organized in practice.

A key takeaway for us was that sustainable success is not about enduring everything or fitting into someone else’s definition of achievement. Rather, it is about growing with intention, setting boundaries without guilt, and building a career — and a life — that genuinely reflects who you are.

The panel was thoughtfully moderated by Natalie Kedikoglou, General Counsel at Eldorado Gold Corporation, and featured the participation of Dimitra Mougkasi, General Counsel Greece at HERACLES Group, a member of Holcim Group; Maria-Stefania Katsiapi, Group General Counsel, Legal & Compliance at Ideal Holdings; and Fotini (Fenia) Papadopoulou-Papavasileiou, Expert Lawyer – Technology, Corporate & Commercial Affairs at Allwyn Hellas.
