C-Law joined the Legal Business Summit @Costa Navarino as sponsor

C-Law proudly participated on 15-16 May as a sponsor of the Legal Business Summit @Costa Navarino, a premier gathering of legal and business leaders.

Our founding partner, Mary Chalioiti took part in a thought-provoking panel discussion titled "Shaping the Future: Key Trends in Investment, Property, and Infrastructure Development”.

The Panel was moderated by Naya Pyridi, Head of Legal Operations & Services of Growthfund, the National Fund of Greece, and featured distinguished speakers Dimitris Polychronopoulos, Head of Legal Services and Compliance Officer of Trastor REIC and Rena Florou, Europe Associate General Counsel, Holcim | Greece General Counsel and Compliance, Heracles.

In her speech, Mary emphasized the urgent need to modernize design and construction contracts to address the complexity and evolving demands of ultra-luxury development projects. She also explored the legal intricacies involved in the acquisition and structuring of integrated tourist resorts, covering the full life cycle from land acquisition and zoning, to licensing, financing, and the establishment of divided ownership schemes.
